Teaching experience
I’ve worked as a teaching assistant in the Department of Geography and the Environment at UT Austin for six academic semesters, assisting three different professors teach the university’s intro to human geography course. I have also lead my own course as instructor of record for two academic semesters, teaching a dissertation research practicum to third-year graduate students. See this syllabus here.
My pedagogy has developed outside the classroom through my work as a writing consultant for graduate students across the university, the three years of workshops I have lead at the Digital Field Methods Institute (DFMI), and as a mentor to undergraduates in the Border Tech Lab.
